Hey, I'm a musician from South Kingstown, Rhode Island. I mainly play upright and electric bass, but also play keys, guitar, and sing. I grew up playing jazz and classical in school starting in 4th grade but in high school started doing a lot more, playing gigs around and stuff. I got to tour Europe three times while I was in high school, first as a singer in the Chorus of Westerly, then as a bassist in the New England Conservatory Youth Symphony and the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. The summer after graduation I went to the Berklee Global Jazz Institute's camp at Newport where I got to perform at the Newport Jazz Festival for the first time. This program helped me a lot to figure out what I wanted to do and where I wanted to be.

After high school I went to Berklee College of Music for a few years studying Bass Performance, taking lessons with John Lockwood and ensembles with Billy Kilson and Jason Palmer. In my second year I was accepted into the Berklee Global Jazz Institute's undergrad program which was an amazing opportunity, and there I studied further with greats like Danilo Perez, John Patitucci, Dave Liebman, and Joe Lovano. When Covid hit I moved back home to Rhode Island and transferred to the University of Rhode Island where I studied Communication and Music, back with my long-time mentor and one of my greatest musical inspirations, Dave Zinno.

Now I’m gigging around New England (Newport Jazz Festival, Fete Music Hall, The Music Mansion, etc.), writing and recording my own music, and working as a Production Assistant at the Brown Arts Institute. Let’s make and enjoy music it’s really cool and fun!
